15 lb. biodegradable paper. Each kit contains enough cutouts for a double layer of two houses.  Two houses can be used together for a brighter color on the ice, or use 1 house at a time. Typically installed on a thin layer of ice with additional layer(s) on top. Available in both red and blue outer circle.
