Kohl Center – Madison WI
The Kohl Center, a top venue in college athletics, was still one of five NCAA Division I men’s hockey arenas with a rink larger than 200′ x 92′. Following the divisional trend, a reduction was approved to move to a smaller sheet that meets NHL standards. This shift in size provides athletes more playing success now but also beyond their time at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Rink Systems originally installed the Badger’s Olympic-sized rink and we were proud to assist in converting their current board system to the NHL standard 200′ x 85′.
