3M Arena at Mariucci – University of MN

200′ x 89′ has never looked so good as it does at the new 3M Arena – Mariucci. When the rinks outdated refrigeration system needed to be replaced, it was the right time for the University to move towards the trend in college hockey, playing on a smaller sheet that is closer to the NHL standards. While the original size of 200′ x 100′ brought a different dynamic for the fans, the landscape of the game has changed and it was right time to follow suit to better prepare future players. Rink Systems was proud to collaborate in suppling and installing our complete Legacy Elite dasher board system including: aluminum dasher boards, acrylic shielding, penalty/player boxes, benches, rubber flooring, and safety netting. Players, coaches, plus the loyal fans will enjoy the new rink for years to come. Go Gophers!
